When
your equipment breaks down, you don't always have time to run to town
and get a new hose, or you may not own the equipment to make your own.
Rest easy knowing you own the DiscountHydraulicHose.com In-Field Repair
Kit! This kit is great for farm, snow, construction, and many other
applications. Included in the kit is 2 feet of R2-08 (1/2" ID Hose)
hydraulic hose, 4x Reusable fittings (R2-08-608), and 25x JIC x JIC union
(2403LH-08-08). Simply cut the R2-08 to the length you need, attach the
ends in the field, and put the union in the middle, and your back in
business. Some kits are Male fittings x Female fittings, but with this
kit, you can give yourself a little slack by using two female fittings
and one male union.
This kit is great for a small hose break, rupture or other problem where you can't reuse the existing hose, and need to install a temporary line. These fittings will work for long-term repair but are designed to get you through the time until you can repair the line, then put them back in the toolbox for the next emergency!
We also sell this item as just the fittings and adapter without the hose. This kit is great to keep on hand when you get a small break in the line and just need to repair it and get back to work.
