A FJX-08-08-43 | 1/2" hose x 1/2" JIC 37° female swivel is a type of hydraulic fitting that consists of two parts: a hose fitting with a 1/2" inside diameter and a JIC 37° female swivel fitting with a 1/2" tube size and a nominal thread size of 3/4"-16. This hydraulic fitting features a Parker 43 series compatible fitting on the hose end, which has a unique shape that allows it to provide a reliable seal at high pressures. The JIC 37 degree female swivel fitting on the female end provides a reliable seal with a 37 degree flare on the male fitting. This fitting is commonly used in high-pressure hydraulic applications and can be made from various materials to suit specific application requirements.

      Parker Compatible 43 Series

These fittings are designed to work in Parker crimping machines and with Parker hose. These fittings will crimp the same as a Parker 43 series fitting in your Parker machine, or you can use our Crimp Specs if you have an adjustable hose crimper. Currently we have a limited thread selection, but are bringing in more threads and sizes within the next 6 months. Don't see a fitting you are looking for? Give us a call or email us and we will let you know if that one is already on our list.

Our Parker Compatible 43 series fittings feature 2 etched lines along the lower part of the shell, indicating they are for use with most 2-wire hydraulic hoses.

Important Note: The number stamped on the shell of these fittings relates to the hose size.

Certainly! The "F" in NPTF stands for "Fuel." NPTF, or National Pipe Taper Fuel, refers to a type of threaded pipe connection designed to create a leak-free seal for fuel and other liquids under pressure.

The degree of taper for National Pipe Taper Fuel (NPTF) threads is 1° 47′ 24″ (1.7899 degrees) per side. This corresponds to a taper of 3/4 inch per foot, ensuring a tight, leak-free seal when properly torqued.

Yes, there is a difference between NPT (National Pipe Taper) and NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel). NPT threads are designed primarily for sealing with the use of a sealing compound, while NPTF threads have a more precise thread form and are designed to create a dry seal without the need for a sealant, making them suitable for fuel and high-pressure applications.

The ID (inner diameter) of a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Taper) fitting can vary slightly depending on the wall thickness and specific design, but it generally ranges around 0.364 inches. NPT fittings are tapered to create a tight seal, so the exact ID can be slightly different at various points along the threads.

Yes, NPT (National Pipe Taper) and NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) threads can fit together as they both have the same thread pitch and angle. However, NPTF threads are designed to provide a more leak-free seal without the need for sealants, whereas NPT threads typically require a sealant to prevent leaks.

Yes, NPTF threads are tapered. NPTF stands for National Pipe Taper Fuel, which is a type of thread designed to provide a leak-free seal without the use of sealant by having threads that taper along the length of the fitting. This taper allows the threads to compress and form a tight seal as they are tightened.

NPTF, or National Pipe Taper Fuel, is a type of thread used in piping systems that ensures a pressure-tight seal without the need for additional sealants. It is similar to NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads but features more precise tolerances and a dry-seal design, making it suitable for applications involving fuel or gases where leaks must be minimized.
